Valentine's Day wardrobe essentials

This Thursday, February 14th, 2013 is Valentine's Day, whether you end up going out or staying in there are a few wardrobe essentials that are needed to be prepared. Single and taken men and women would agree that this day of love can have many unexpected surprises. Don't let those surprises turn sour over embarrassment over your clothing choices.

1.) Underwear choices:

Before you get dressed, think about what you might end up doing for the night. Whether it's a first date or if you're in a committed relationship, you don't want to be caught in granny panties. Wear something that makes you feel sexy or what you think your mate may want to see you in when things get hot and heavy. Try some lingerie from Fascinations. 2.) Scenting your clothes:

Whether you bought something new to wear for Valentine's Day or you revived a dress from the back of your closet, try a scented liner in your drawers just to make sure your clothes smell as fresh as you are. You can also lightly spray perfume on your garments, although depending on the type of fabric or how much you spray, you don't want the scent to be overwhelmingly strong. Draw your mate with a favorite smell and let him move in close to get a whiff.

3.) Picking the right red

Red has always been the color for love and passion. Wearing red will catch your mates attention, but you don't want to over do the shade. Although, red is a color everyone looks great in, you have to consider your skin tone. As a rule of thumb the warm and bright shades of red look better on more olive skin tones. The deeper and cooler shades of red look better on the more porcelain skin tones. Whatever shade you decide, you can't go wrong going red for Valentine's Day.
