Allgauer’s Restaurant in DoubleTree hotel, Alsip, Ill. Chef Ed Trinkaus will prepare a four-course menu with wine pairing. An overnight escape package with dinner also is available. Most romantic dish is the heart-shaped cake with double chocolate drizzle.

Bolat African Cuisine Restaurant, go on a lovers delight African adventure thanks to a menu featuring exotic “Afro”disiacs.

Charlie Trotter’s, will be offering a special multiple course "love" menu with luxury products from around the world.
Cité Chicago, wine and dine with stunning views from the 70th floor of Lake Point Tower fused with a decadent six-course chef's-tasting menu for $95 per person. The most romantic dish is the Swiss chocolate fondue for two.
Coobah, this Cuban-style restaurant offers a $69-per-couple five-course menu, including an appetizer, entrée, shared dessert and free gift bag from C.O. Bigelow. Free parking is available in the back. Most romantic dish is the Hare Pie Stuffed Rabbit Empanada.
Division Ale House, couples can opt for a three-course dinner for just $25 per person. Reserve in advance and receive a complimentary bottle of champagne. Most romantic dish is the organic free-range half chicken
The Flying Horse, head to Galena, Ill., for a romantic surf-and-turf special of $32.99, or select the most romantic dish — Roast Duck with Cranberry Glaze
Francesca’s Tavola, hit up this Arlington Heights, Ill., location for a dish of heart-shaped ravioli.
The Happ Inn Bar & Grill, want to include the kids on your V-day date? No problem. Check out its weekend-long specials and a kids dinner-and-movie celebration on Feb. 13 starting at 5 p.m. $9.95 for a complete kids "TV dinner." Also, receive free red velvet cupcakes.
Jacky’s on Prairie, suburbanites can hit up this Evanston restaurant for a six-course chef’s-tasting menu, including Oyster Trio, Jasmine Petal soup, Butter-poached lobster, Diver sea scallops, quail and dessert for $70 a person. A vegetarian tasting is available upon request.
Lawry’s The Prime Rib, from Feb. 11-14, couples can opt for the $99 dinner for two, which includes three courses, dessert and champagne. Each couple receives a complimentary jar of C.C. Brown's Hot Fudge Sauce, which retails for $30.
Lou Malnati’s, give the gift that keeps on giving with a 9-inch heart-shaped pizza. Miles away from your sweetheart? Ship the heart-shaped pizza and have it delivered right to your honey’s doorstep through Tastes of Chicago.
Maxwell’s at the Club, located in East Bank Club, a special Valentine's Day dinner menu is available, paired with live music by Gypsy Influence.

Vermillion Restaurant, reserve two seatings of "Gourmet Love" for a five-course meal ranging from $55-$65 per person.
Zest, located in the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile hotel in the Streeterville/Gold Coast neighborhood, romantic four-course menu, including a toblerone chocolate fondue to share for $55 a person. Offer available Feb. 11-14 from 5-9:30 p.m.
