Cupid’s holiday, affectionately known as Valentine’s Day, is soon approaching, which means it’s time to spend a romantic day and a little money with a special love one. In Elementary it was easy; parents bought a pack of Valentine’s Day cards for kids to pass out to their classmates, but as an adult, a lot more is expected.
To have a good time this Valentine’s Day, see the list below, and come up with your own dinner, movie, and dancing combinations.
Dinner: Angelinos love sushi, but even more, they love a deal. The Ra Sushi Bar Restaurant is satisfying both wants with their three-course meal for two, cost $30.
The Chaya, is also offering a Valentine’s Day menu, with choices from Tuna Tartare, Spanish Octopus, Assorted Nigiri Sushi, to Marinated White Sea Bass, with dessert for $68.
Movie: In the entertainment capital, there is no shortage of movies to see, especially on V-Day. About Last Night, stars Michael Ealy, Kevin Hart, Regina Hall, and Joy Bryant, as a set of best friends who find lust and love in Los Angeles. With the opening scene serving as a quick recap of Bernie’s (Hart) and Joan’s (Hall) first rendezvous, the film will add a little spice to any V-Day date. While the first couple’s relationship can be imagined as the red devil on your shoulder, Danny’s (Ealy) and Debbie’s (Bryant) relationship starts off perfect and sweet, symbolizing the good angel.
New daters won’t get turned off by all the mushy romance, as the actors brought out all the jokes, which made for a laugh-out-loud moment during every sequence. About Last Night, provides both new and seasoned couples with a template of what to do, what not to do, and how to have fun in a relationship.

Dancing: After eating, and laughing, end the night at your favorite bar or lounge. The Edison, in Downtown LA, will keep the V-Day party going at their annual Valentine’s Day gathering.
