It's been a big week for Mortal Instruments fans. Last Saturday Sony Pictures launched a special "Week of Mortal Love" countdown to Valentine's Day. Each day they have been releasing an exclusive new character graphic @MortalMovie and the official Facebook site. On Valentine’s Day, as many suspected, the studio released the first official graphic of Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Valentine. The fun didn’t stop there as an exclusive image of Jace and Clary was released along with another image from Magnus’ party.

Throughout this #ShareMortalLove event, new images of Simon Lewis (Robert Sheehan,) Isabelle Lightwood (Jemima West) Alec Lightwood (Kevin Zegers,) and Jace Wayland (Jamie Campbell Bower.) Fans finally saw the first look of Godfrey Gao as Magnus Bane.

#ShareMortalLove and #MagnusBane both spent time on the Worldwide Twitter trending list. This once again proved the power of The Mortal Instruments fandom and that Sony certainly knows what they're doing with social media marketing.

In addition to the new images, Collider.com released tons of information from their time spent in Toronto on the set of ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.’ Be sure to check out their links below.

'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones' is the first film in a hopeful franchise based off the Internationally bestselling series by Cassandra Clare. The Harald Zwart directed film is due out August 23, 2013 and stars Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Sheehan, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Lena Headey among its talented cast.
