Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and many are trying to find something special to do with a special person. This February 14, rather than go with just a normal dinner or the typical heart-shaped chocolates, why not try a dance-related date? Music City has plenty of events to choose from next Friday night, from performances to dancing socials.
Nashville Ballet will be performing Attitude, a show that combines contemporary dance with the music of Johnny Cash, played by local bands. It promises to be a uniquely Nashville experience, and certainly a more personalized date than your typical dinner and a show. Also that evening, B. B. King's Blues Club and Restaurant will be presenting the Soothe Sessionz Show, a talk-show and talent-show combination including dance performances. The restaurant is also running a dinner-for-two type special for the evening.
For those who would rather dance themselves than watch others dance, Larry’s Grand Ole Garage and Dance Hall (Madison location) will be holding a Valentine's Day dinner and dance at 8:30 p.m. The event will be a fun-filled night of country dancing and old-fashioned music, perfect for the native Tennessean or the Southerner at heart.
The day after Valentine’s Day offers even more options, with Jump, Jive, and Swing at 7 p.m. at Otter Creek Church and more. Check Where to Dance Nashville and Now Playing Nashville for complete listings of events!
