It’s hard to believe, but Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Plenty of Atlanta-area restaurants are offering guests prix fixe menu options and specials for the holiday.
Atkins Park Restaurant & Bar in Virginia Highland is supplying couples with a special menu on Valentine’s Day. Chilled gulf oysters ($10) or crispy oyster sliders ($8) start off the meal. Dinner includes options of pan roasted sea scallops ($22) or smoke roasted prime rib ($26). Guests can enjoy espresso marshmallows, chocolate caramels and chocolate dipped pistachio biscotti for dessert ($6). From Thursday, February 14 through Sunday, February 17, RA Sushi in Midtown is offering a Valentine’s Day special. Perfect for sharing, the main dish, “For the Love of Lobster,” is heart-shaped sushi rolled in pink soy paper, crab mix, cucumber and fresh strawberry encircling a creamy lobster salad and fresh avocado for $10. For sipping, the restaurant is serving the “Berry Encucumbered Refresher,” a blend of Effen cucumber vodka, Absolut Citron, Cointreau, muddled cucumber, strawberry, lime juice and soda for $8. For $59.99, the restaurant is offering a special of two 5-6 ounce cold water lobster tails, four jumbo bacon wrapped shrimp brochette and chicken and beef fajitas, served with Monterrey vegetables, guacamole, pico de gallo, cheese, sour cream, rice, beans and fresh flour tortillas.
