Looks like not many women are trying to look good for their dates. This year, stay away from casual clothes and look for posh outfits. This guide will show you how to dress appropriately for the day of love.

You should ditch the jeans and go retro instead. Think of Taylor Swift or “Notebook” clothing.

Don’t dress all in red. Instead, go for a “pop” of color. Wear some red or pink nails. Choose a rose-colored lipstick that goes perfectly with any outfit.

Think outside of the box. Wear a violet-blue dress. Blue is known to be calming and inviting. Also, it’s a universally flattering color.

Valentine’s Day is all about the little things. This should be the same when it comes to your style. Choose something that has a little bit of lace, beading or floral pattern to celebrate the day.
