Valentine's day is celebrated world wide and it is said that $1 million dollars in chocolates alone are sold for this special day of Romance. The actual history of Valentines day is shrouded in mystery, but it is known that in 1537 King Henry VII officially deemed it a holiday.
So what can you do for your special love on Valentine's day other then the typical candy and flowers. Here are a few fun things to do
1) Take your partner to The Melting Pot. It is an amazing restaurant.
2) By him or her Jewelry. You can find good quality pieces for relatively inexpensive, in fact you can probably buy a gold or silver bracelet for less then a dozen roses at this time of year.
3) Find something adventurous, go hiking, biking or indoor rock climbing.
4) If you want to stay in and just have a romantic night, then get some extra candles, cook a nice dinner or order in and just relax, watch a romance movie and enjoy each other.
There are so many creative things you can do, just use your imagination.
Till next time,
Jennifer
