Valentine's Brunch scheduled to benefit Monmouth County SPCA

Mark your calendar for Sunday, February 10, 2013. That is the date for the annual “Valentine’s Brunch” to benefit the Monmouth County SPCA (MCSPCA). The event will take place at McLoone’s Pier House at Pier Village in Long Branch from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The upcoming brunch will honor Josephine Joel, MCSPCA Board of Trustees Secretary and Auxiliary President.

“Jo is a true friend to the animals at the MCSPCA. Her work with the Auxiliary over the years has ensured that every animal who comes to us receives the highest quality of medical care. We are thrilled to recognize her contributions and celebrate her commitment,” said Meghan Rehbein, MCSPCA director of development.

There will be live music by jazz-funk band Wakah Chan, and a huge chance auction with prizes for people and pets. Tickets include a buffet brunch and your choice of one Mimosa or Bloody Mary. Cash bar and valet parking will also be available.

Tickets for a 50-50 drawing will also be available for $10 each. The winner will be drawn on Monday, February 11 at 1 p.m. at the MCSPCA Homeward Bound Adoption Center. The winner need not be present to win. One lucky person won over $15,000 last year.

Tickets to the event are available at $75 per person, and seating is limited. Don’t delay in purchasing your ticket, as last year’s event sold out.
