Valentine's Day is coming up but, you don't have to wait until then for some frugal family Valentine fun. Here's some ideas for just such in Tulsa:
Home Depot Kids Workshop - Feb. 2, 9a.m.- 12 p.m. Free workshop where kids can build a Valentine card holder. Please see their website for more information.
Lowes Build and Grow- Feb. 9, 10a.m. Free kids clinic where kids can build a Wheel of Love. For more information and to register please see their website.
Tulsa Parks- Valentine Crafts at Hicks park Feb. 7 5-6 p.m. for ages 8 to 13 yrs. old. Cost is $10 and must pre-register; Fancy Nancy Valentine Party at Whiteside park Feb. 14 for ages 2-5 cost is $7. Tulsa Libraries- With lots of Valentine events like the Valentines by You where you can make some Valentines Feb. 7, 3-7p.m. for ages 5-12 at the Judy Z Kishner Library, Dance of Hearts Feb. 9, 1-2p.m. learn the dance of hearts and create a Valentine craft for ages 5-10 at the Martin Regional Library- class size limited, Valentine Fun Fest at Jenks Library Feb. 12, 4-5p.m. with fun games and snacks for ages 8-15. And more events for the tweens and teens are Steampunk Valentine Creations Feb. 12, 3-4p.m.for ages 10-18 at the Judy Z. Kishner library. Barnes and Noble- With a special Valentine Storytime Feb. 9, 11a.m. Featuring a reading of "The Perfect Hug", activities, and treats in all stores nationwide including here in Tulsa. Please see their website for more information.
