Chocolate is a no-no for dogs and most especially for little ones, so don’t be tempted to share your own sweet treats with him. Whip up some homemade treats yourself or buy special Valentine's Day goodies right here in Columbus that are made especially for pets.
Do it yourself - If you have a plain red, white, or pink dog coat or sweater, you can easily make your own Valentine’s Day outfit for your dog. Cut hearts out of felt or other sturdy fabric and baste onto the coat or use Velcro to attach.
Basting with large stitches would allow you to remove the hearts quickly to use the sweater for everyday use, but the hook and loop tape is a good option if you want to have one coat to adorn for use on other occasions.
