Love is in the air. As Valentine’s Day approaches, finding fun, romantic and unique activities to do with a partner or by oneself can put pressure on a romantic. Here are three Valentine’s Day activities in the Cleveland area that yogis can enjoy with a partner or there is an option for those single folks out there too.

Yin yoga class led by Carina Adams. Yin is a type of yoga that really gets into the connective tissue and follows the different meridians of the organs used in Chinese medicine. Practitioners hold the poses from three to five minutes. This class will focus on deep backbends that help open the chest and the heart. There will also be a discussion of the heart chakra. Cleveland Institute of Music graduate student, Morganne Aaberg, will accompany the class with live violin music. Register for this event via their website.

This workshop will help couples connect by learning massage techniques to help each other find ease and relaxation. Led by local yoga teachers and licensed massage therapists, Denys Morgan and Kristin Dalakas. Participants will also learn tantric meditation practices that can help deepen their relationship. To help bring balance and connection to each couples relationship, Kundalini Venus Kriyas will also be performed with a focus on the heart. Adding to the ambiance and experience will be aromatherapy oils, candlelight, wine and chocolate. Advanced registration is required.
