Vail Theatre of the Arts (VTOTA) owned and operated by the Vail Unified School District and located at 10701 East Mary Ann Cleveland Way on the far southeast side of Tucson offers yet another exciting state-of-the-art venue for performing arts and entertainment in Southern Arizona.

This facility, with a seating capacity of 593, is available for in-district usage, non-profit organizational and commercial rental. For further information about VTOTA, contact Performing Arts Theatre Coordinator, Bonnie Vining, at viningb@vail.k12.az.us or call 520-879-3925.

Upcoming entertainment includes folk legend, banjo virtuoso and 40-year member of the ever popular Nitty Gritty Dirt Band – John McEuen – in concert on Friday, January 15, 2010 starting at 7 pm. McEuen will be joined by his ‘music pal’, Matt Carsonis, and the show opens with Tucson favorite Pete Kartsounes. McEuen, known as “America’s instrumental poet”, creates audience magic with his fascinating “down home” music stories and multi-instrumental wizardry.

Ticket prices: Advance: $20 adults, $10 VUSD students; At the Door: $25 adults; $12.50 VUSD students.

This concert is a don’t miss event! Purchase your tickets early! Go to www.vtota.org for more information.
