Vacation nude in France

Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park offers a group trip to one of the birthplaces of naturism in France: the CHM Montalivet. Naturists in North America will have a chance to experience European naturism as well as French culture.

The oldest naturist vacation resort in France is the Centre Helio Marin Montalivet, best known as the CHM Montalivet, on the Atlantic coast near Bordeaux. With over 3,000 sites (tent, RV, cabins, and bungalows) on nearly 500 acres and as many as 15,000 people per day, Montalivet is one of the largest and busiest naturist resort in the world. The shopping center at the heart of the resort features 22 shops and restaurants. As a result, you can spend your entire stay clothing-free. Optional (clothed) visits to vineyards, castles and other area attractions are other possibilities.

After WWII, the naturist movement around Paris had returned and was growing rapidly. Two of its leaders, Christiane and Albert Lecocq, realized that naturists needed a vacation destination. They settled on some beachfront on the Atlantic near Bordeaux and the CHM Montalivet was founded in 1950. Discussions and lectures are still an integral part of Montalivet.
