The Federal government's well beyond questionable policy of forcing Park Service employees to guard against visitors viewing the normally unmanned WWII Memorial, got a bit heated on Sunday.
Frustrated Republican Rep. John Neugebauer confronted one of the Park Service employees as detailed by NBC News:
"How do you look at them and...deny them access?" Neugebauer asked the ranger of the veterans who were trying to visit the memorial.
"It is difficult," responded the ranger. "I'm sorry, sir."
Neugebauer fired back, "The Park Service should be ashamed of themselves."
"I'm not ashamed," the ranger said.
"You should be," insisted Neugebauer.
Neugebauer appears correct, quite frankly, in his criticism. However the real culprit in all of this appears to be the President himself, who will even pit Park Service Rangers against WWII vets simply trying to access an open air Park, among numerous other documented occasions of pitting various groups of Americans against one another.
Ironically, after the confrontation, Biden actually contacted the confronted Ranger and indicated "I'm proud of you" witch was later tweeted via the Vice-President's official tweet account..
So, Biden is Proud of Federal employees trying to block access to a Memorial owned by the American People?
Most Americans, at this point, are not at all surprised at what could be termed 'political grandstanding' by a Regime clearly in the wrong, by most accounts.
And on the heels of that public show of support, a petition on Change.org began circulating on Friday, accusing Neugebauer of "incorrectly interfering in the duties of his fellow public employee" and calling on the congressman to "correct himself and publicly apologize" to the ranger.
Change.org measurably fails to ask the question of why Americans simply trying to view the benefit of their tax dollars, must be blocked by Federal Agents.
It would seem, however, that push has come to shove within the ongoing debacles of Obamacare and the massive US debt, as both seem to be meaningfully coalescing in front of the American people simultaneously, and to maximum Presidential damage.
