This program welcomes artisan and farmstead cheesemakers from across the Badger State. The conference, titled “Handcraft your Vision: Creating Cheeses of Distinction,” runs from Tuesday, January 28, through Wednesday, January 29.

Scheduled events include educational presentations, hands-on cheesemaking workshops at the UW River Falls Dairy Plant, a local brewery tour, and a dinner gathering.

The presentation roster features Wisconsin’s Fantome Farm cheesemaker Anne Topham, French cheesemaker and Farmstead Cheesemaking author Patrick Anglade, and Michelle Farner, UW River Falls Dairy Plant manager.

The two-day conference is sponsored by the Wisconsin Artisan Cheesemaker Guild, Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, and UW-River Falls. Attendance costs $115 per person, with limited spots available for those interested in cheesemaking.
