Utah Utes vs TCU Horned Frogs 2009 final score

The Utah Utes lost to the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday night. At the half, the score was Utah 14 TCU 28, the Utes pulled out two more touchdowns in the third and fourth periods.

TCU opened the game with an 87-yard touchdown drive in the first few minutes of play, and things didn’t get much better for Utah after that. TCU recovered a fumbled kickoff at the Utah 16-yard line. TCU scored three touchdowns in the first 3 ½ minutes of the second quarter.

Before the half, the Utes intercepted a deflected pass in the end zone. Utah had two long completions from Wynn to Reed, the second ended with a touchdown that brought the score to 35-14. Then a field goal by TCU brought the half time score to 38-14.

TCU added it their lead with another field goal and a touchdown when Ed Wesley ran 14 yards early in the fourth period.

Final score – Utah 28 TCU 55
