Looking for some spook-tacular Halloween fun for your little ones?
Dress up in your favorite Halloween costumes and head west to Grantsville’s Pegasus Event Center for the third Annual Ponies in the Pumpkin Patch event. This year’s family-friendly celebration will be offered on TWO (yep, 2) October evenings!
Your entire family can participate on either the 30th or 31st of this month. Ponies in the Pumpkin Patch begins at 3:00 p.m. and runs through 8:00 p.m. both nights.
For just $10.00 per child your kids can enjoy a fun, safe ride on their choice of a pony or horse, or in a little horse-drawn cart. They also get to pet friendly farm animals at the on-site petting zoo, and the whole family can venture through the maze.
Even if the weather’s chilly, your thrills won’t be postponed. Pegasus features a BIG indoor arena, so all the on-site festivities will take place as planned!
For an additional $2 you can get a cute balloon animal, enjoy face painting, or (if you dare) go into the haunted barn! (Parents; the barn is designed with little kiddos in mind, so don’t expect a real scare). Families can also visit Pegasus’ tasty Trick or Treat Lane.
If one pony or cart ride isn’t enough, you can even add an additional ride for just $2.00 more.
Located close to Tooele and Erda (and a quick 38 minute drive out west from Salt Lake City), Grantsville’s Pegasus Event Center is easy to find at 291 Race Street. The barn’s phone number is 435-830-5349 (ask for Jaime or Evan).
If your kids really enjoy those adorable ponies, be sure to inquire about lessons and other fun events at Pegasus (435-830-5349). Jaime is an expert instructor who specializes in hunt seat and jumping, and the stables have other trainers who often help with western riding lessons and horse training, too. The festive fun can last all year long!
