Utah home buyers will use $8 million in federal stimulus money

Utah Governor Herbert will use $8 million in federal stimulus funds to help jump start Utah’s housing market, in a report from Connect2Utah.

The governor’s office released a statement Friday stating that $4,000 grants will be granted to 2,000 Utah home buyers.  Governor Huntsman had a similar program in which $10 million in stimulus funds offered $6,000 grants to 1,600 Utah home buyers earlier this year, as reported by Connect2Utah.
