Utah high school alumni in professional baseball: January news

This January update covers professional ballplayers signed from Utah high schools. Most of the action at this time of year, of course, involves signings and trades. And some ballplayers continue to play in one of the winter leagues during the offseason.

By the close of the 2012 season, 43 Utah ballplayers had played professional baseball in the MLB, MiLB, international and independent leagues. Check back at the beginning of each month for updated stats and news.
