Governor candidate Sheryl Allen will face incumbent Republican Gary Herbert and Republican Lt. Governor Greg Bell. Also running for Governor and Lt. Governor are W. Andrew McCullogh and Aric M. - Recent action: Agreed to a series of at least 8 debates with incumbent Gary Herbert. Chose first Lt. Governor from a different party - former republican legislator Sheryl Allen. Pledged to go "back to the basics," and "small, honest, effective government." Asked to participate in Governor's Immigration Summit. Denounced Herbert's initial reaction to "Illegal Immigrant" list as too soft. Has come out against Arizona style immigration law; says it is federal responsibility.
