Which holidays in the 2013 are postal holidays? Will the Post Office be open or closed? Can I expect mail delivery on some holidays?
After a previous story on the fact that there will be no mail service today, on the holiday that commemorates the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr, some have asked for a complete list of 2013 US Postal Service holidays. So by popular demand, here is the complete list of the remaining 2013 USPS holidays. On these days, there will be NO mail delivery.
Complete list of 2103 US Postal Service holidays:
• Monday, January 21 – Martin Luther King, Jr. birthday (observed)
• Monday, February 18 – Washington's birthday (President’s Day)

But once again, there will be no mail service today, Jan 21, 2013, and with rare exceptions Post Offices will be closed. So if you are expecting an important letter or package today, you will have to wait until Tuesday, Jan 22, 2013. USPS has a total of nine holidays each year. Most of the Postal Service holidays fall on a Monday. The two exceptions are for New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. There will be no mail service on those Postal holidays.
