This weekend, Sat. and Sun. Feb 9th and 10th, the Mountain View Library will be holding a used book sale. Organized by the Friends of the Mountain View Library, the book sale will be held in the back of the library in the Mobile Library garage off Mercy St. The sale is open to the public on Sat. from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Sun. from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Members of Friends of the Mountain View Library will have early access to get first pick of sale books at 9:00 a.m. on Sat. From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sun., shoppers have the opportunity to fill a bag with as many books as it will hold for just $3.
The Friends of the Mountain View Library holds quarterly used book sales to raise funds for the library. Sale items are supplied through donations, and include not only books but DVDs, CDs, and other media.
If you have items you’d like to donate for the library’s book sales, they can be inserted through the donation slot adjacent to the Mobile Library garage. If you have a large number of donation items, call (650) 526-7031 to arrange a drop-off time.
