The USC Trojans opened the season as one of the top ranked teams in the nation, as it looked like Lane Kiffin had them finally headed in the right direction. However, on Sept. 28, the team fired Kiffin after a 3-2 start to the season. Ed Orgeron took over as the Interim coach and performed a miracle, winning six of the final seven games and putting them in position for a bowl game. However, ESPN reported on Dec. 20 that it is offensive coordinator Clay Helton who will coach the team this weekend. Here is how fans can follow the USC Trojans vs. Fresno State Bulldogs live stream in the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl.

The problem for USC came when they chose to hire former assistant coach Steve Sarkisian as their new head coach for the 2014 season, which caused Orgeron to leave the program completely. As a result, the Trojans head into the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl with their third head coach of the season to take on Fresno State.
Fresno State (11-1) has been one of the hottest teams in college football in 2013, their only loss of the season coming against San Jose State on Nov. 29, a game that kept them from slipping into the BCS picture as a mid-major ranked team. Regardless, Fresno State heads into the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl ranked 20th in the nation, above USC, and hope to finish the season strong.
