USC's Matt Kalil named to 2011 Playboy Preseason All-America team

Playboy Magazine's annual college football preseason All-America Team was released on Tuesday and representing the University of Southern California is offensive lineman Matt Kalil.

Kalil was the lone Trojan to make Playboy's preseason list this year, but is joined by six other Pac-12 Conference players, including Stanford's Andrew Luck and Jonathan Martin, Oregon's LaMichael James and Cliff Harris, Arizona State's Vontaze Burfict and Oregon State's James Rodgers.

It is the third honor the 6-foot-7, 295-pound redshirt junior has received this offseason, having been named to the 2011 Outland Trophy and Lombardi Award watch lists in July.

The brother of former USC center and All-American Ryan Kalil, Kalil once again will not only reprise his role defending quarterback Matt Barkley's blindside as the starting  left tackle, but will also be counted on as one of the team's biggest leaders on the field.
