Usain Bolt's basketball skills on display at celebrity game

Usain Bolt's basketball skills were on full display Friday night (Feb. 15). Bolt took part in the All-Star Weekend's Celebrity Game, playing for the East squad. As reported by Yahoo!, most of his night was not all that impressive as the East team lost 58-38 in a badly played game.

It was at the end of the first quarter where he made an impression though, in part because of a nice pass from a teammate. As the East team tried to push the ball in transition, Bolt got open as he was slashing to the basket from the right side. He got the ball and went up for a nice two-handed slam dunk that not only got the announcers excited, but the crowd as well.

Dunking the basketball while on the run isn't the easiest thing to achieve, no matter how easy college and professional players tend to make it look. Plus, those are people who play basketball regularly and not a track star who is just doing it for fun. Sure, it may also have not been the prettiest dunk that anyone will see at the 2013 All-Star Game, but it was one of the best a celebrity has had.

It's clear that Usain Bolt's basketball skills aren't going to get him a 10-day contract with the Los Angeles Lakers any time soon, but at least for at least one play he looked pretty good.
