USA vs. Canada men’s hockey game semifinals without Canadian beer? Only in USA

Where will hockey fans be for the best Olympic hockey game with two North American teams battling on the ice? Probably watching the game somewhere. The TV time of the game in America is not too early and many fans are trying to dodge work or taking a really long lunch. However if you decide to get a burger while watching the game, make sure you get an American beer. There are bars in the USA who are refusing to serve Canadian beer. According to Yahoo Sports on Thursday the bar Amherst Pizza & Ale House will not be serving any beer brewed in Canada during the event.

If this was no beer at all because the game is going to be early, that would be understandable. However Team USA will play against Canada at 11:30 a.m. ET and there will be beer served, just not Canadian beer. Of course this makes perfect sense!

It’s one of many decisions in the United States that has fans getting ready for the big game. This might be a semifinals game, but to the North American continent, it is as good as the gold game. Wanting vengeance for losing the Olympic gold in Vancouver, hockey fans are going to be deeply involved in the Olympic hockey game.

Going to be watching the Olympic hockey game? Well, if you aren't heading out to a bar, check out the game live on NBC Sports Network. The TV time is at 11:30 a.m. ET on Friday and when the puck drops you don’t want to miss the action.

Watching the free live stream online is what most people at work will be doing on Friday. Live stream is on NBC Olympics Live Extra or NBC Olympics.com. Start time is Friday at 11:30 a.m. ET.
