USA Today has figured out what we already know here in Albuquerque - Duke City rules!
Tim Winship of SmarterTravel.com writing for USA Today notes: The city itself reflects the state's deep and diverse cultural influences, ranging from Spanish to Mexican to Native American. The downtown dress code embraces cowboy boots and Stetsons alongside Brooks Brothers suits. Jewelry tends toward silver and turquoise designs tracing their roots back to Zuni and Navajo craftsmen. And whether the restaurant is Italian, Japanese, or Mexican, the locals find sly ways to incorporate chiles into almost every dish. Yes, dessert included.

But I don't know if I agree with all he wrote. He left out Lilly Barrack's sleek silver jewelry, and Brooks Brothers suits? Where'd that come from? And what about Old Town, Nob Hill, EDO. And the ABQ Trolley? How about our wonderful public art in Albuquerque? Or, how the dog friendly places and activities in Albuquerque?
I suppose Winship couldn't fit too much in one paragraph.

I love Albuquerque! I plan to learn Southwest Cooking the next time I visit.
Cool beans! I've been doing a little poking around through your articles and other online resources thinking about a future trip, and I'm really impressed. It also seems to be a really good "value for your money" vacation destination.
Visited so long ago I can't remember how many years but I know I have to come back to see how it has changed.
