USA to battle powerhouse Brazil

The U.S. Men's National Team will battle five-time World Cup champion Brazil on Wednesday, May 30 in Landover, Md.  Kickoff is at 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN2, ESPN3 and Univision.

Brazil last visited the USA on August 10, 2010, at New Meadowlands Stadium, NJ, when they dispatched the USMNT 2-0 for a crowd of 77,000. The two teams have played 16 times dating back to 1930 with a definitive record of 1-15-0.

USMNT head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has recently turned around his anticipated shaky start with a three-game winning streak in his first nine games, bringing his record to 4-4-1.

"When you talk about Brazil, you are speaking of one of the most gifted football playing nations in the world," said Klinsmann. "It is our goal to be able to match up against teams like Brazil on a consistent basis, so this is an amazing opportunity."
