It's a big week for fans of USA's new summer breakout Graceland. The season one finale is set to air on Thursday, and today the network has renewed the series for a second season. This extends series creator Jeff Eastin's relationship with the network even further, as the White Collar mastermind has another new fan favorite on his hands.
“Jeff Eastin has once again delivered for USA Network,” USA President Chris McCumber said in a statement to the press.
“We’re proud to be the home of one of the summer’s top new cable dramas and anticipate Graceland will be a long-term player for the network.”
But will all of Graceland's current players be able to continue with the series? Scottie Thompson's character seemed strong in the pilot but was quickly written out a few episodes after, and now we have Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) on the run after assuming Mike (Aaron Tveit) was about to learn he killed another FBI agent. And then there's Charlie (Vanessa Ferlito) who unleashed some rage on a known drug offender who she was hoping would lead her to answers about drug lord Odin. Will she have to answer for that?
Tune into the season one finale of Graceland on September 12 2013 at 10 p.m. on USA to find out. Then come back here and let us know if the events of the finale leave you wanting more-- enough more to tune back in with the show's second season next year.
