So who is ready for some clown horror? No, this is not Pennywise, no this not another horrible take on John Wayne Gacy, this is the tale of Stitches the clown. Who is Stitches you say? Well he is the new face in balloon animal making horror and after hearing UK release dates and info we finally have a US schedule. The new film from director Conor McMahon (Dead Meat) will get a limited release run and for sure hit DVD and VOD outlets. Looks like April fools day will be Stitches day as it will be released here for special engagement screenings. The next day is when it becomes available. More than likely my review for this film will hit my Horror Movies Uncut list for the first Friday in April so look for that.
“Years after a cruel kids’ prank during a birthday party for 8-year-old Tommy (Tommy Knight, Doctor Who, The Sarah Jane Adventures) left hired clown Richard “Stitches” Grindle (Ross Noble) dead on the kitchen floor, the childhood friends gather to plan a birthday bash to end all bashes.
