The US Open tennis 2013 live stream and TV schedule is now deep into the tournament at Flushing Meadow, NY, with men's quarterfinals action on the way. Among the matches featured on Wednesday morning's slate will be Richard Gasquet vs. David Ferrer for a trip to the semifinals. This match will be among those televised and live streaming US Open tennis matches, thanks to multiple sources.
According to a Sept. 3 report from Stuff of NZ, David Ferrer has advanced to the quarterfinals after a 7-6(2) 3-6 7-5 7-6(3) victory over Janko Tipsaveric of Serbia. The match was said to have been extended for four hours after it was moved to a "smaller show court" due to a lengthy rain delay. Ferrer is currently seeded fourth in the tournament and has now reached the quarterfinals stage at each of the last eight majors he's played in. He was also a finalist at the French Open back in June, and now looks towards the semis if he can win his next match.
His opponent will be Richard Gasquet who made it to the quarterfinals after a victory over Milos Raonic on Monday night, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (4), 2-6, 7-6 (9), 7-5. This will be Gasquet's second Grand Slam quarterfinals played. The 27-year-old Frenchmen also made it to the Wimbledon semifinals back in 2007. Sports book sites such as Bovada currently have Ferrer as the favorite at -275 to win, with Gaquet an underdog priced at about +200.
