In a historic vote the U. S. House voted overwhelmingly to de-fund Planned Parenthood. The Friday vote on the Pence amendment passed by 240 – 185, reflecting the wishes of the large majority of Americans who do not want tax-funded abortions. Vermont Congressman Peter Welch voted against the bill that would save taxpayers $363 million per year by de-funding PP.
Racism
However, Planned Parenthood does not just promote abortions; is also promotes racism.
In 1939, PP founder Margaret Sanger wrote about a plan to, “hire three or more colored ministers, preferably with social-service background, and with engaging personalities . . . “ because, “The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.” From the book, Margaret Sanger Father of Modern Society by Elasah Drogin, page 25.
The minister is the man
Former community organizer President Barack Obama has a background in "social-service." He is an "engaging" orator. And Planned Parenthood backs him. Hmm.
Ku Klux Klan
“I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan,” Sanger wrote in her autobiography. Despite this legacy of racism, many on the left continue to promote PP and its founder, including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who said, “I admire Margaret Sanger enormously.” See Glenn Beck video on left exposing PP's racism.
It’s as if the left can’t see PP's racism because of their blind faith in abortion. In a move that would make Sanger proud, the Vermont House passed a resolution in January to reaffirm the right to abortion, especially for minorities: “women for whom English is a second language or who do notspeak English at all, poor women, rural women, and women who are minors.”
When will Sanger’s racist legacy end?
As Lifenews noted, “The fight to stop Planned Parenthood funding is not over as the amendment is part of a continuing resolution bill needed to fund the federal government and the funding apparatus still faces Senate action and likely conference committee action — which could ultimately leave the amendment out of the final draft of the bill that goes to pro-abortion President Barack Obama.”

great journalism *eye roll*
And to that I say, "Do a better job, cite some other credible journalism that isn't left or right-wing based, or get the ____ off".
Time to WAKE UP AMERICA! When we don't value the least of our children, then we won't value human life at all. Look out Grandma & Grandpa, they'll be putting you to sleep when you are old, almost like when the family dog is put down when it is too old or disabled.
Thank you Kelly and thank you Glenn Beck!
that's a big lie. It will cost 10x360,000,000 without
if Ms. Bartlett would take a moment and visit a Planned Parenthood location (or even their website) it would become clear to her that they don't promote abortion, any more than the Republican Party promotes unplanned pregnancy. Could we all agree to focus on the well-being of the children who are here and wanted and hungry and uneducated, right here in the U.S.?
To Anonymous who says PP doesn't promote abortion: Planned Parenthood performs 1/3 of the abortions in the U.S. plus they receive about 1/3 of their budget from us taxpayers. Do the math.
Not only do they promote and perform abortions they make millions doing it. They don't need our tax dollars.
