The USA/Canada international women's soccer friendly will have a decidedly Houston flair on Friday night January 31, 2014 when the two teams square off in Frisco, Texas. The newly formed Houston Dash of the National Women's Soccer League will have three members (Whitney Engen, Erin McLeod, & Lauren Sesselmann) on the rosters.

Engen, on loan from her Swedish club Tyreso FF's, was named to the USWNT squad by head coach Tom Sermanni. The 26 year old defender has earned 10 national team caps will be in Frisco on Friday night against Canada and subsequent matches on February 8 and 12 against Russia in Boca Raton, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia before rejoining the Dash.

McLeod and Sesselmann have been named to the Canadien 19 player roster by head coach John Herdman.

McLeod, one of three goalkeepers, has made 92 appearances for the Canadien side sporting a 45-18-29.

Sesselmann acquired by the Dash through the NWSL allocation draft from FC Kansas City brings a wealth of experience to the Canadien backline. The 30 year old defender has earned 38 national team caps.
