Urijah Faber spotted at Super Bowl XLVIII: Denver Broncos vs Seattle Seahawks

According to a Feb. 2 tweet from Urijah Faber, "The California Kid" is in the house for Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Faber, 34, did not provide any hints as to which team he'll be cheering for in the big game, but he seemed to be having a fantastic time regardless of his rooting interests.

In the photo Faber posted to Instagram, he wasn't wearing any Denver Broncos or Seattle Seahawks attire.

The UFC superstar opted to attend the Super Bowl in jeans, a black jacket and a hat that didn't feature the logos of any particular sports franchise.

Despite not having any rooting interest in the game, Faber appeared to be having a blast at MetLife Stadium.

"This place is nuts. My first live Superbowl #superbowl48 @ampenergy #pepsi," Faber tweeted.

It should come as a bit of a surprise that Faber was in attendance for the Super Bowl, as he was knocked out in a cage fight less than 24 hours prior to the event.

Faber, a standout in the UFC's bantamweight division, was finished by Renan Barao in the UFC 169 main event in Newark, New Jersey.

Faber appeared to recover well from the knockout finish, so New Jersey fans were obviously quite pleased to see him make a surprise cameo at Super Bowl XLVIII.

Much like thousands of other sports fans, Faber took advantage of Super Bowl weekend in "The Garden State" by soaking in both UFC 169 and Super Bowl XLVIII.

The Denver Broncos meet the Seattle Seahawks at Super Bowl XLVIII, and the big game starts at 6:30 p.m.
