Urgent plea to rescue frightened Shih Tzu from Miami high kill shelter

Toby's time at the Miami-Dade County Animal Services is over, and at anytime he may be euthanized because he has been labeled "fearful." He was found as a stray and made available for adoption on April 23.

Now the time has ticked away for this small five-year-old Shih Tzu mix; what little dog wouldn't be scared in a place like Miami-Dade with everything unfamiliar and no where to hide?

At this time Miami-Dade County Animal Services is extremely crowded and is reported to have over 350 dogs; Toby's listed as "code red."

Please help to spread the word about Toby by clicking on his Facebook link and sharing his story with your friends, family, and coworkers. Please notify all responsible rescue organizations to help.
