Angel Dog Rescue

Angel Dog Rescue (ADR) is an organization in south Georgia that is dedicated to fighting abuse and neglect - one animal at a time. Their mission is “to rescue and provide humane treatment, medical care and homes for homeless and abused dogs in and around, but not limited to Quitman County and surrounding counties in Georgia, and Barbour County in Alabama.” (from their Facebook page) The volunteers of ADR also spend substantial amounts of time educating others about humane treatment and pet overpopulation.

Below is an urgent request posted last night on the ADR Facebook page seeking a foster home for a family of “at risk” puppies and their mama:

HELP!!!! URGENT!!!!! We need an immediate foster for a Momma Dog and her nine puppies that are five weeks old. We are in the process of trying to rescue them but we need a foster home ASAP!!! Please Share!!! We will also need donations for their medical care, they are not in a good situation at this moment they need our help!!!!

ADR posted an update this morning stating that eight of the nine puppies have been captured but they have no place to keep them except in a car. Call 229-334-2148 or send an email to if you can assist with these dogs.
