Urgent - darling puppy needs out of animal control now

An impossibly cute, undeniably sweet puppy is in desperate need of help in Chicago, Ill. The five-month-old boxer mix puppy, named "Scooter," who is housed at the Chicago Animal Care and Control facility, is available to a rescue organization, and according to the CACC Transfer team volunteers, he needs to leave the facility now.

Urgent - needs rescue now
CACC Transfer Team

On June 22, the CACC Transfer Team posted the following words about Scooter to their Facebook page:

HE IS AMAZING!!!! We had him out!! He is great...bulldog boxer mix and knows SIT and pottied outside right away

Despite their glowing words, Scooter remained and on June 25, the same Facebook page issued these dire words:

A video was taken of Scooter while he was interacting with another dog - the pup appears to be social, friendly and full of life. Scooter needs the help of strangers to help increase his visibility, which in turn, increases his chances of being rescued.

Scooter is listed as "rescue only" at the facility. Read more about why dogs are labeled "rescue only" at this link.
