Urgent cases bury life-saving rescue organization

Orange County, CA - It is heart-breaking to receive a plea for help and not have the means to do anything.

The German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County is currently buried in high-need dogs...buried in high expenses.

The combination freezes their ability to help the dogs in need.

It paralyzes their ability to pull dogs from shelters - shelters where stunning, loving, high-need German shepherds are dying.

The rescue's resources have been drained by several dogs - one, a 6 month old puppy who is fighting for his life - battling the deadly puppy killing virus, Parvo.

Adding to their burden is the recent intake of 5 backyard breeder puppies - just 10 months of age. In typical backyard breeder form, the dogs arrived in poor condition and they need medical help.

Another German shepherd was rescued from a shelter just days ago - she has newborn puppies and is fighting for her life.

She is currently in ICU at a vet clinic - fighting pneumonia, and other complications, including seizures.

Anyone in rescue knows that one high need dog can cripple an organization. Taking in multiple high need dogs at the same time can literally bury the organization in expenses.

In the meantime, wonderful dogs die at the shelters - dogs that cannot be helped until resources are once again made available.

Right now, the German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County is reaching out to their followers - and beyond. They are pleading for donations - anything to help offset the bills that have consumed them.

Anyone that loves this breed of dog can empathize with this rescue - they want to help all of the dogs in need, but their hands are tied.
