Urgent: 14-year-old blind dog missing in East Patchogue, NY

A blind senior dog is missing in New York, and his family is anxious to help him get back home, Facebook reported April 17.

Shea is a 14-year-old male Brittany Spaniel who may or may not be microchipped. He weighs about 50 pounds, is brown and white and responds to the words "treat" and "cheese."

Shea escaped a fenced yard on April 17 in the Hewlett Avenue area of East Patchogue near Sunrise Service Road. This area is across from Lowe's and behind the McDonald's on Highway 101.
