Urban Organics Sponsoring Students to Attend Green Gala

Urban Organics, a local Cleveland area company (http://www.urbanorganicsohio.com/) that produces organic garden amendments and distributes other sustainable products, will be sending 10 area students to the upcoming Green Gala (http://www.ecowatch.org/greengala.htm) featuring Phillipe Cousteau.

From their press release:

"Urban Organics Punctuates it's Dedication to Education by

Increased Sponsorship of Upcoming Green Gala.

EcoWatch's third annual Green Gala on April 8 will feature Philippe Cousteau, Jr., the grandson of Captain Jacques Cousteau.

This year, Urban Organics has contributed at the "Go Blue-Motivating Teens to Be Change Agents" level. This sponsorship allows 10 Bay High School students, with faculty, to attend at a special table. Mark and Michele Bishop chose Bay High School, to continue their dedication to the community they live in. "The high school is continually increasing its commitment to the concept that a green future is in the hands of today's children" states Michele Bishop. The "Green Team", Community Garden, and the new Bay Skate and Bike Park, are a few other recent examples of Urban Organics and the Bishop's ongoing support of Bay Village. The students will also spend 45 minutes prior to event with Philippe Cousteau, while he gives a special presentation tailored just for the students.
