The Louisville Urban League will be hosting the 20th annual "Louisville Career Expo," Wednesday March 19, 2014 at the Kentucky International Convention Center from 10 am - 4 pm. The event will feature 74 exhibitors and is expected to turn out thousands of job seekers. The expo will give employers the opportunity to meet face to face with potential work candidates, diversify their workplace, and promote company missions and objectives with candidates.
The Urban League's career expo is one of the largest of its kind and will offer free admission and will target adults 18 years or older. The expo will feature employers as well as colleges and career training institutions offering information on skills training and certification programs to help individual career advancement.
Attendees to the expo are encouraged to dress professional. Employers may offer on-site interviews to feel immediate job needs. An on-site technology center will be available so that attendees may submit online applications. Attendees are encouraged to bring paper copies of resumes as well.

The expo will also feature information about getting affordable healthcare. The deadline to register for healthcare is March 31, 2014. Registration for healthcare will require necessary documentation. Needed documentation can be found at kipda.org.
