Not all who live in the San Gabriel Valley are able to have space to grow edible plants. Or so they think.
Whether you live in an apartment complex or have a small yard, a bountiful harvest is only a few months away.
Getting Started:
Analyze your space. Will you be growing plants in containers? Or will it be small spaces? Sunlight. How many hours of sun does the certain area get?
Rain Water: Will the spot allow for rain to hit or will you be watering it most of the time?
These are just a few simple questions to start out with. Once you decide where you want to grow a garden make note of the space allowed. Will it be a few feet of flower bedding? Or a patio that can allow for 4+ more pots?
If you are planting in the ground, then you haven't got much to worry about. Container planting can be fun, but challenging at times. This series will help weed out the pros cons dos and don'ts of urban gardening.
You don't need a green thumb for amazing produce! Just some TLC, water and time and a perfect harvest can be yours.
