UPS Foundation grants money for computer training facilites

The UPS foundation will be granting money to the Louisville Central Community Centers to develop 3 job training facilites that will include "a computer lab and two offices with lighting, work stations, computer technology and telephone service." (Courier Journal, Dec 2010)

The grant is in the amounut of $32,175 and will aid the Louisville Central Community Center in helping the Russell community "advance self-reliance through education, training and life-skill development, annually serving about 3,000 youth and adults." (Courier Journal, Dec 2010)

Louisville Central Community Centers will offer programs in "early childhood education, youth and leadership development and job training, in addition to financial literacy programs." (Courier Journal, Dec 2010).
