Upper Deck reveals Tiger Woods Master Collection trading cards (Photos)

Upper Deck announced that they will be producing a super premium trading card collection centered around company spokesman Tiger Woods on Tuesday. The new product will be called the Tiger Woods Master Collection and include at least four Woods autographs in each box. This announcement comes a week after the news that Upper Deck would be producing its second Michael Jordan Master Collection.

The set configuration of the Tiger Woods Master Collection will be similar to that of the Jordan Master Collections. There will be a complete 80-card base set that chronicles all of Tiger's wins on the PGA Tour and as a celebrated amateur. The hits will come in the form of the autographs, which will come in a variety of different insert cards and memorabilia. Along with the random piece of Tiger-signed memorabilia, which include signed replica pin flags and programs, there will be three cards signed by Woods. Some of the hits teased by Upper Deck include a Limited Logos card that includes a huge patch swatch, a remake of the iconic 2003-04 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Basketball rookie card design, and dual cut autograph cards which pair up Woods with another legendary sports figure. The famous Jambalaya design also makes its golf debut in the form of a 14-card (one for each Woods major win) Slambalaya set.

Upper Deck has not revealed pricing or a print run for the Tiger Woods Master Collection, but considering the contents of each box and Woods return to prominence in recent months, collectors can expect to a pay a huge premium for the product.
