After a seven year wait, Upper Deck will once again be taking their talents to the golf course with the release of 2012 SP Authentic Golf. Each box will include three autographs cards with at least one "Authentic Rookie." Thanks to the very long gap in between golf products, the term "Authetnic Rookie" is going to take on a whole new meaning.
While you can expect Upper Deck spokesman Tiger Woods to be heavily marketed, you can't discount the greats like Jack Nicklaus and the rising stars like Dustin Johnson. And then there is the stunning inclusion of Michael Jordan in the set, who will join Tiger in what will be one of the most sought after cards of the year in any sport, their Sign of the Time Dual Autographed card. To give you an idea of what to expect, the last Tiger-MJ dual autograph sold for $1,970.00. Expect that number to rise if Tiger can come through with a great first half of the 2012 PGA Tour season.

Here is projected set list with some of the player we can expect to see come June. It seems easy to nitpick and wonder at the lack of Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickeson, at can still happen between now and June.
