Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center located near Wisconsin Dells is already well-known for its 4-H camp. In addition to youth camps, this year Upham Woods will offer an "Autumn Spectacular Family Camp Weekend" October 14 - 16, 2011.
Many challenging and fun events are on tap for the entire family. Campers may select from the following activities:
- Archery & fishing
- Canoeing
- Hikes on the North Shore and Blackhawk Island
- Low Ropes Course
- Camp Crafts
- Rock climbing, hiking, canoeing at Devil's Lake State Park
- Learn through Nature Exploration Programs
Evening events for all will include campfires with s'mores, circle dancing, a family race, night hikes and live raptor presentations.
For lodging, guests may choose from cabins or dorms. Meals are included for all of Saturday through Sunday's lunch. Families are invited to check-in between 5-7 pm on Friday night 10/14, with the program ending at 2 pm on Sunday, 10/16/11.
The all-inclusive price for adults (13+ years) is $105. Youth aged 5-12 is $85, with ages 4 and under free.
