Both Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio Jr. are still recovering from injuries that have kept them off WWE TV for quite some time. Mysterio has been out of action since last August with a torn ACL and Del Rio has been out of action since last December with a torn groin. According to a Tuesday February 14th report by PWInsider.com, both Del Rio and Mysterio Jr. were backstage at RAW last night but aren't cleared to wrestle.
Del Rio returned to action over the weekend as the WWE was in the California Bay Area. Del Rio challenged Sheamus to an arm wrestling match since he's not cleared to take any bumps. It's unclear when he will be medically cleared.
Rye Mysterio Jr. is hoping to be back in time for WrestleMania 28 on Sunday April 1st. There's still a small chance that he will be able to wrestle Sin Cara in an exciting spot fest. Rey's rehab has been going well without any recent setbacks. Both superstars are desperately needed back on WWE TV as the promotion struggles with a lack of depth at the top of their roster.
