UPDATED: In this preview of Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew, episode 3, the women patients gather for process group with Dr. Drew, where he asks them to consider the idea that their worth is not connected to their outward appearance.
The group is frustrated that Kari Ann isn't present and doesn’t participate more; although, she does eventually show up.
How do women get their value and their worth.
Their exercise is to peel back the layers, take off the mask. When Jill asks them to take off their make-up in an exercise, Kari Ann opts out; Dr. Drew does not excuse her, and so she excuses herself from the group and leaves.

Four days into treatment, the patients are becoming increasingly agitated. Kari Ann refuses to get up with the others in the morning, which sparks resentment and jealousy - Kendra in particular is annoyed at her lack of participation and special treatment. Drew and Jill devise a special process group for the women: by removing their protective outer layer of makeup, they can have an experience of their true selves. Kendra, Nicole and Amber each have one-on-one sessions with Dr. Drew and Jill, and Kari Ann writes a letter to Kendra dripping with passive-aggressive feelings
