It is imperative that we continue to reach out to our neighbors in the Oso area. An easy way to help those affected by the horrific landslide disaster is by attending one of the upcoming benefits.
These ten options are available over the next seven days. Try to make one of these great benefits as well as others held over the next couple of months.
Sunday April 6
Heart of Anacortes Benefit
Corner of 4th and O Streets, Anacortes
Begins at 1 p.m.
An outdoor concert, art auction, canned food and clothing drive. Musicians include Ben Starner, Fidalgo Swing, Jacob Navarro, Knut Bell, Lane Fernando, and the Stilly River Band. The Art Auction will feature works by Local Artists. Everyone is encouraged to bring canned food and/or gently used clothing to be given to Oso residents in need.

4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Music benefit with performances by Andy Volmer, Drew Ferarro, Frank Sandoval, Joe Goins, Mark Goldberg, Pa Mathison & Sightseer and the Pin Drops, Rey Mendoza and Square Butte.
Blues for the Slide: Arlington

Hugh musical benefit and silent auction. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., 8 p.m first band
Music will start with Lake View Drive followed by Under Sin Saints and ending with Damnation. $5.00 (or more if able) suggested donation at door with the first $300 of matched by One-Eyed Jacks. All monies brought in at the door and raffle will go to Snohomish Red Cross to benefit those affected by the slide.
